Humor in geplanter Kommunikation, ich habe es Ihnen versprochen. Und da ich gerade selbst eine verfasste, kümmere ich mich heute mal um die Abwesenheitsnotiz. Sie ahnen gar nicht, wie viele Ratschläge und Tipps es dazu zu finden gibt! Und Sie ahnen noch weniger, wie viele Ratgeber empfehlen, sachlich und humorlos zu bleiben…
Dem will ich an dieser Stelle widersprechen.
Was ist so schlimm daran, dem Empfänger meiner Abwesenheitsnotiz ein Lächeln zu entlocken? Es ist wohl eher schwer, auch hier das richtige Maß und den richtigen Ton zu treffen. Und manchen Individuen mag es bereits schwer fallen, sich ein klein wenig zu überwinden.
Für alle, die sich trauen, aber noch nicht genau wissen, wie, folgt hier ein wenig Inspiration.
„Ich bin gerade nicht im Amt…
… in Würden bin ich aber jederzeit.“ Ich gebe zu, den hab ich geklaut (bei Roman Szeliga nämlich), ich finde ihn aber wunderbar, drückt er doch eine schöne Selbstironie aus. Und hier liegt auch einer der Schlüssel, wann eine humorvolle Abwesenheitsnotiz tatsächlich heiter-humorvoll und zum Schmunzeln ist und wann eher einfach nur platt oder gar unangemessen frech.
Dem Absender damit zu drohen, dass jede zweite Mail ungelesen gelöscht wird oder patzige Zweizeiler wie dieser hier „Sie erhalten diese automatische Benachrichtigung, weil ich gerade nicht im Büro bin. Wäre ich da, stünden die Chancen gut, dass Sie gar keine Antwort erhalten würden.“ halte ich für ungeeignet.
Meinen Sie es gut mit Ihrem Adressaten.
Auch bei humorvollen Abwesenheitsnotizen sollten Sie es gut meinen mit demjenigen, der Ihren Text zu lesen bekommt. Überraschen Sie ihn mit einer kleinen Abwechslung zu dem allseits bekannten „Ich bin am 24. August wieder zu erreichen.“, indem Sie beispielsweise ein paar freundliche Adjektive einbauen. Zum Beispiel so: „Sollten Sie schneller als meine Rückkehr eine Antwort benötigen, wenden Sie sich gerne an meine tolle Kollegin Soundso.“ – da freut sich auch die Kollegin über das Kompliment!
Oder ich bekam neulich eine Abwesenheitsnotiz mit diesem Betreff: „I’m on a holiday 🙂 – woah, meet my colleges, they rock!“.
Wenn Sie als ein besonders viel arbeitender Mensch bekannt sind, schreiben Sie „Es ist kein Mythos – auch ich gehe einmal in den Urlaub. Keine Sorge, ich komme wieder. Ganz bestimmt.“
Oder Sie ergänzen Ihre Abwesenheitsnachricht beispielsweise mit diesem schönen Gedicht von Eugen Roth:
Der Urlaub ist erholsam meist
nicht nur für den, der in ihn reist.
Auch den, der da bleibt, freut die Schonung,
die er genießt in stiller Wohnung.
So zählen zu den schönsten Sachen
oft Reisen, welche andre machen.
Gönnen wir uns eine Prise Menschlichkeit.
Die Uniformität und allseits herrschende Korrektheit macht müde. Glauben Sie es mir. Halten Sie sich und Ihre Umgebung wach, machen Sie mal etwas anders. Wenn wir dabei das nötige Fingerspitzengefühl bewahren, dann steht auch den Daheimgebliebenen ein schöner Sommer bevor!
